Our mission is to glorify God as we develop Christ-likeness in ourselves and in others (Ephesians 4:13).

Our vision is to glorify God through growing faith in, reliance on, and fellowship with Him; truthfully, mercifully, and evangelistically interacting with others; and faithfully serving in our local church.





Church Staff


Ken Woodard

SENIOR PASTOR

Our senior pastor has been at Temple Baptist since 1986. He was a youth pastor almost two years in Pennsylvania before coming to Dade City. He has a B.A. in Church Administration and a Master of Ministries degree.
Pastor and his wife, Rachael were married in 1985. They have one daughter and three sons that have grown to adult-hood in our church. They demonstrate a love for the Lord and want to live for Him.


Micah Felber

ASSISTANT PASTOR

Pastor Micah received a Bachelor of Arts in Bible from Bob Jones University in 2012 and a Master of Arts in Pastoral Studies from Bob Jones University in 2014. While in school, he served as an intern for two summers at Northside Baptist Church (2009 & 2011), camp counselor at the Wilds Christian Camp for one summer (2010), and another summer as intern at Temple Baptist Church in Dade City, FL (2014).
From 2015-2017, Pastor Micah served as assistant pastor at Northside Baptist Church of North Charleston, SC. One month after joining the Northside staff, he married Abby Offord.
Pastor Micah has served as Assistant Pastor at Temple Baptist Church in Dade City, Florida since 2017.

We believe in the Scriptures of the Old and the New Testament as verbally inspired of God, and inerrant in the original writings, and that they are of supreme and final authority in faith and life (II Tim. 3:16-17; II Pet. 1:20-21).

History

Temple Baptist Church started in 1978 on Fort King Road. In 1985 TBC moved into the first phase of the Cinton Avenue location. Our present pastor, Rev. Ken Woodard, came in 1986. We completed our present auditorium in 1997.
